Supervisor - Mechanical

The position requires a motivated Supervisor to help meet and exceed customer expectations. The person would be responsible for the supervision of manufacturing employees by guiding, directing, and making decisions to meet all manufacturing standards in the facility. The position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Available to work the weekend night shift.

Professionals ( > 2 years of work experience)
Tasks:
Maintain all plant metrics in safety and environmental, quality, productivity, delivery, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and attendance.
Analyze daily information and provide necessary feedback to employees
Train and mentor employees through support of the training function.
Monitor employee performance through tracking, proper documentation, and effective corrective action.
Provide positive feedback while monitoring performance.
Support the Lean Flex Flow Process.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED AND 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR
Associates degree AND 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR
Bachelor's Degree AND 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical field.
5+ years' experience in supervision
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Strong organizational and computer skills
Ability to manipulate data using M.S. Office applications
Effectively lead in a team environment
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
