Work Experience

Education



????????? College degree preferred with three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.?



Functional/Technical Knowledge

The Master Scheduler develops and maintains the Belton capacity plan for downstream departments and appropriate production schedules, communicating same to all departments and management, and monitoring and adjusting to ensure on time customer delivery and optimum utilization of production equipment.?




Job Responsibilities:






  • Establish realistic capabilities based on operational input and historical data.



  • Monitor and revise production order schedules using communicated customer forecasts and work with the Extrusion Manager to establish appropriate press blocking or stocking order requirements.



  • Monitor execution of production schedules through relevant work centers of focus and provide reports as required to track production progress.



  • Work in conjunction with Production Department Managers and/or area Supervisors to establish recovery plans for order backlog conditions.



  • Establish and Communicate standard lead times for Departments / work centers of scheduling responsibility.



  • Review customer orders confirming capability, capacity and projected delivery dates.



  • Assist with processing customer change orders and expedites.



  • Track and publish on time delivery performance.



  • Participate in production meetings providing input in (over time) utilization.



  • Ability to work independently, possess effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill.?



  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive and effective professional working relationship with all internal customers.



  • Raw Material Responsibility



  • May network with other planners.







Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
