Description:
Implemetation Engineer
Responsible for construction and excavation oversight of the performing contractor including the planning and coordination of project tasks and resources to bring about the successful completion of projects goals and objectives. Must maintain a professional presence and approach while representing Duke Energy. Inspect and review project evolutions monitoring for compliance with safety and environmental codes and other regulations. Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are in place (including contractor qualifications)
Responsibilities include:

o must manage work to the contract
o identification of project objectives and goals
o planning the work according to the objectives
o assessing and controlling project risks
o estimating resource requirement
o allocating resources
o organizing the work
o assigning tasks
o directing activities
o controlling project execution
o tracking and reporting progress
o controlling project quality
o managing and resolving project issues
o identifying, managing and controlling project changes
o communicating project status and issues to all stake holders
o successfully completion project within time and budget constraints
This candidate must be a self-starter, who possess a questioning attitude who is able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment while maintaining a professional presence and approach. They must possess initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with clients. Must have the ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously. Candidate should have strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization. Some client travel expected. Significant time may be required to be in Charlotte at the start of the project.
Education Requirement:
Minimum High School Diploma, Desired 2 year college or better
