Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, establishing, directing, and coordinating quality programs and procedures necessary in the achievement of lasting customer satisfaction.
Responsible for maintaining ISO Certification to 9001-2015 Standards.
Completing quarterly Management Reviews and auditing all areas of the plant and maintaining documents to the ISO standard per procedural requirements.
Develop / increase process monitoring and feedback to improve quality related to production processes and coordinate the maintenance and further development of P-FMEA's.
Work with cross-functional teams and suppliers on material sourcing, PPAPs, First Piece Articles, CTQ tasks.
Issue formal supplier corrective actions when necessary.
Strong understanding of quality issues and statistical concepts to successfully analyze data.
Track and report monthly QA performance results Champion Total Failure Costs reduction - analyze and propose improvements to reduce overall failure costs (Scrap, Rework, and Warranty) Communicate and work with all levels of management, plant operations, and engineering as needed to meet the goals set for quality improvement.
Manage a formal Corrective and Preventative Action Program supported by data, audit findings, and warranty to drive better plant quality.
Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Promotes a high level of communication between departments to resolve issues Fosters a culture where safety is priority and procedures, and policies are followed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Fundamental QA knowledge, particularly ISO 9001-2015.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications Effective verbal and written communication skills Must be team oriented and customer driven Motivated self-starter Must be team oriented and customer driven SAP knowledge preferred Management (supervisory) experience preferred ASQ and Six-Sigma Green Belt is highly preferred.

Required:
Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field and minimum 5 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in an industrial environment which may contain hazards such as:
loud noise, air-borne dust, exposure to hazards (pinch points, rotating machinery, sharp edges, etc.
) and wear all required personal protective equipment (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, some areas may require hearing protection, and hard hat) Must be able to read from computer and paper sources detailed information Must be able to read close tolerance measuring devices Must be able to work in a team environment with all branches of the plant Must be able to make changes to plan / schedule to meet customer demands / deadlines Must be capable of moving about the facility, including stairs.
Must be able to either sit or stand in the performance of job duties, often for prolonged periods of time each day.
Will be required to stand and/or walk 8 - 10 hours per day.
Ability to work long hours, including overtime and weekends is an essential function.
Must be able to occasionally bend, squat, kneel and reach.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds 5% travel Quick Apply.
